Art of the winter edition

Original Artwork created for Frontiers Magazine by Christian Opyrchal on the theme of the Shadow

Bleak Arches

meant to represent winter in its most barren form, using a dark and almost monochromatic palette to highlight the lack of life and vibrancy that often comes with winter. The columns are intended to represent a fading away of energy whilst simultaneously aiming to be reminiscent of line of trees, with trees being ideal representations of how the changing seasons affect life.
